Period hasnt came and stressed -
March 30th 2016, 01:58 PM
Hi, I recently became sexually active about a month ago. After the first few times I found myself stressing really badly over the idea or even the possibility of being pregnant. I freaked out and kept telling my friends that I was convinced that I was pregnant. I finally got my period on March 8. You see I usually have a 22 day cycle but they are irregular sometimes and when I calculated my next period it said it should be here today. Now I know I'm jumping to conclusions but I can not stop thinking about me maybe being pregnant. I read stress could delay your period and I have been very stressed recently because my mother is in the hospital I also read that sickness could affect it as well and I did recently just get over a cold while I was ovulating. One more thing my boyfriend found out he was basically sterile when he was with his ex they tried for years to have a child and found out it was because of his sperm count so, there's that. I know I shouldn't be stressing about it but I can't stop thinking about IT a pregnancy at this point I my life would be devasting because I am about to graduate high school and start college. Advice and experiences like mine would be appreciated because I am freaking out guys.

Did you use protection during intercourse? Because that will reduce the likelihood by a lot. I know you said that he and his ex could not conceive a child, but that doesn't mean its impossible for him to conceive a child, I highly suggestion you always use birth control during sex.
If it has been two weeks since you think you may have conceived you can take a pregnancy test. They need at least two weeks post conception to be accurate. You can buy a test at any pharmacy or grocery store. They are quick and easy to use. I think that will be the best way to ease your mind right now.
Try not to worry too much until you take a test. Once you have an answer, then you can start planning the future.
