Why does it seem that lesbians in particular can express sexuality more than straight men -

I was at a bar and heard a group of lesbians talking about some very sexual stuff (I won't go into detail..I not only think it is not appropriate to discuss but it has happened multiple times so that there are multiple examples). They were my friends and while they weren't including me in that specific conversation, they weren't taking any measure to ensure that I wouldn't overhear. It just struck me how awkward it would come across if I, a guy, gave absolutely any input. I'd definitely be forgiven in that instance. But, if I just said those things casually to a woman who I didn't already know well and wasn't obviously hitting on me strongly, I'd probably be slapped HARD in the face, reported, and gossiped about. Why?
My city is super big on Pride. I don't oppose it. But sometimes, I feel like LGBT people are allowed to express their sexuality (sexuality...not sexual orientation...there is a difference) more readily and that many of the things I saw would not really be acceptable if a straight man did it. I won't go into more detail than that. I went to an LGBT bar with some of these same people and was surprised at just how....excessively sexual the decorations were.
Once, a gay man just came out and kissed me on the lips. Now, you can imagine how well that would go over if I did that to a random woman as a straight man.

I think it's inappropriate regardless of what your sexuality is, just because there should be consent for things like kissing someone or involving them in sexual discussions. It can definitely get awkward when you're sitting around and all you hear is someone talking sexually. Maybe you can let them know you're uncomfortable with the topic being discussed?
