~Misguided Ghosts~	Re: Opinion on AI I agree with you that data centers can have a purpose for some tasks, but it can also be a problem. People use it as a therapist or for medical advise, or they start talking to it and relying on it as if it is a friend or lover. I have heard that it has been useful in a medical setting but I don't have any sources offhand to prove it.

theantihero	Opinion on AI What are your opinions on AI? Do you think it'll benefit society or the planet in the long run? Why? Why not? I think we have to be very careful when it comes to using AI. AI data-centers use a lot of energy, water, and other natural resources to keep the machines running. It's noisiness is a disruption to local community members, most of whom never even wanted the data-center to be built in their neighborhood in the first place. AI is already beginning to take away jobs from people and destroying creativity by making people rely too much on the technology instead of coming up with their own writing/artwork. But AI can be used in a positive way as long as there are strict regulations. I don't know what those regulations would be, but these billionaires need to focus more on coming up with a plan instead of investing their money elsewhere.
