Hello everyone. I made a new account because I couldn't seem to login to the old one I used to have as a teenager. I'm 23 years old now. I now have a diagnosis of schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type. Which if you don't know, that means symptoms of schizophrenia, and a mood component which in my case is bipolar disorder. I get manic and depressive episodes but also get psychosis during and between episodes. I'm not ALWAYS in psychosis, but I have episodes then have residual symptoms between episodes.
Last night I was starting to get some more symptoms in which my speech started not making sense and I started hallucinating again.
I wrote in my notes on my phone:
"it's important to have your own organ attached to you. I actually took both of these parents as a child".
I realized later that it was odd and didn't make a ton of sense. But in the moment, it's either a voice I hear, or it's some kind of delusion.
Anyway, thanks for everyone who stood by my side through my teen years when I used to use this site a lot.

That must be so hard to go through. You’re not defined by the diagnosis — you’re still you, and you’re doing the best you can.

Happy to haha you back!
I think writing things in your notes app is a great idea even if the notes don’t make sense. You can share them with your providers so they know what’s happening.
