Re: positive anxiety?

Yeah, didn't realize that most schools have that, since I've done it before. But I did make her a bracelet before this all happened so even if she can't keep what I gave her she at least has the bracelet I made her.

Re: positive anxiety?

Yeah, that's definitely a policy at a lot of schools. Some have a blanket "no gift" policy and others have a "no gift that costs more than $x" policy. Maybe next time you can try and make her just the handmade things like the letter or a handmade card instead, if that's allowed? Since it has no monetary value they may be more willing to allow that.

Well. I got in trouble with the school for giving it lol. apparently teachers aren't "supposed to accept gifts like that" like dude I've done it before and nobody said anything.

Re: positive anxiety?

I think it’s a lovely idea and I bet the teacher you gave one to last year cried because she was happy to receive the gift bag? I’m pretty sure her crying wasn’t a negative thing. I’m sure your teacher will like the gift bag and gifts . It’s a lovely idea and a lovely thing to do.

positive anxiety?

So i'm making my teacher a gift bag. Some of the items include: Letter, poem, 2 expo markers, a folder, blank paper, frog fidget, globe squishy, a pencil, 11 reasons she's my favorite teacher, and probably some other things I forgot to list. I'm having a bit of anxiety about her reaction to it, because last year when I did it for another teacher, she quite literally cried. This is how last year went
Me: "hi Mrs. H, I have something for you" Hands gift bag
Her: "Oh you didn't have to honey!"
Me: "I know I didn't" *chuckles as she takes the bag*
Her: *turns around and wipes tears in her eyes
MY FRIEND LATER: So Mrs. H was crying this morning in homeroom, what was that about?
Me: I gave her a bag of gifts...
My friend: oop~
SO YEAH- LETS HOPE MRS. M GOES A BIT BETTER THIS YEAR...I have to see her in an hour and tenish minutes so yeah. That's gonna go so well...I gotta keep telling myself that(though inside I"m screaming I shouldn't do it because she may not like it but she loved the bracelet I made her so why wouldn't she like the gift bag???) RAH RAH RAHHH
