haha, hey, the trial... he didnt plead, and they put a recess on it, for two months, because there was over 10 boxes of stuff the lawyers had to go through, so its coming up on the 27th of july. to plead and stuff so. it a rough month. Thank you bout my usernames.

Stress [As one would most definitely have while trying to do well in any endeavour] is a BIG reason why people become depressed. So YES - there is definitely a connection between academic performance and depression.

There is clinical depression and what I call situational depression. If a person is depressed for no obvious reason [Obvious to them - especially] that would probably be clinical. If they failed an exam - or their dog is about to die - and they are depressed - that would situational. That's how I differentiate the two.

Depression - especially among teens and young adults - is going to become even more of a problem as that 'generation' increasingly depends upon 'strangers' [People they 'know' on the Internet or communicate with mostly via text messaging, etc.] to meet their need for intimacy. As I wrote in my book - we need intimacy - we do not need sex. Intimacy is what makes us feel loved. And you need to be WITH a person for intimacy to become a reality. You can be very close to people you only know online. But it's not the same thing. There's no 'body contact'. No 'body language'. No BODY! Think of it this way. You have four dogs. You put two of them in the same cage. And two of them in separate cages - in different rooms. The dogs that were in separate cages could bark at each as often as they wanted to. But they couldn't see each other and couldn't touch each other. Of those four dogs - which one [Or more] do you think would be more content - feel more loved? It's the same for all animals - including us! And without that love - without that intimacy - we all become depressed.

As for how I did in school - I did horribly. And depression played a BIG part in why it is. I passed by the skin of my teeth. And as a result I have always had a difficult not believing that I was stupid!

Thank you, not many people really take the time to read my blogs, that's why I don't update them super often. As for the seizures, he didn't actually see them, he was at his house and I called him afterward. Thankfully he's never seen me have one, and hopefully he won't have to. I remember you telling me about that friend, how is she doing? I hope she's well. I think it's great that you continued emailing her throughout the time she was home, it shows that you really cared and I'm sure she was probably bored being stuck home for a week!

Again, thank you. I know I'm definitely incredibly lucky to have him. I don't mind him following me around because I know it puts his mind at ease knowing he can keep an eye on me, just in case. Today was actually his 20th birthday, it was a lot of fun. I smashed cake all over his face.

Yeah, I know. I do have to get my wisdom teeth pulled this summer, which is kind of lame. But, I actually want them out at this point. My dentist has been telling me that we're going to take them out since I was 14. It's getting kind of old.

Bahahah, wow. I fail. I don't listen to rap at all, so that might have something to do with my utter lack of knowledge. It's just not something that I can get into.

I love working out too. I'm so excited to start doing daily runs with one of my friends. It's definitely easier to stay motivated with a buddy.
