Yeah, either look away or keep your eyes closed and try to make a conversation with whoever is doing it about something, so you're more focused on the conversation than getting a needle.

Yes we can only hope for now, but I have to get 3 shots when I got to the doctors. They hurt!

Oh I know, but i refuse to take them. Because she won't let me see my therapist.
