My parents call me by my full name, but I have friends who call me Dezi too.

yeah couple of my teachers call me Dez most of my friends call me that. My mom and dad call me dezi sometimes

That's what I do too actually! Most of my friends just know I like to be called Dez but I always get too nervous to ask teachers to. Some pick up on it though.

Ha, sweet! Do you find that some people have a hard time either saying or spelling it, or that you get called Destiny a lot? I've had people pronounce it Des-ir-E (like the letter) Desire-A(like the letter), or spell it wrong, and I've known teachers who call me Destiny by accident so often.

Yes it is short for Desiree, my nicknames are the same too.
