Oh, no this isn't year 12 graduation. This is year 10 graduation. I don't graduate year 12 until 2013.
In Australia we have two graduations one in year 10 and one in year 12. We have exams in both of these grades that contribute to our futures. Our year 10 exams is called School Certificate isn't important that much but they have cut it now it is not going to be done in this state anymore. At the end of year 10 people have the option of leaving school to do other tertiary study, working or getting an apprenticeship.
