Just a tad. I texted the guy who's like.. second in command of the bar and who had asked me to go in to tell him that in future, I was not showing up if they were gonna be there because we can't work together. He was really apologetic and said someone else organised them to go and if he'd known he'd never have asked me.

Is that possible? I always thought if you just laugh too much this happens:

Oh, well that may get a little awkward yeah. See, I like working at the finance department because it's quiet. Except, I was only ever able to go once and now I've been too snowed in to go.

Well what about dying of real laughter?

That's good. The bar I volunteer at, my cousin and her stepdad help out there too. We've barely said two words to each other in three years. Long story.
But I showed up to cover one time and they were both on. It was the most awkward thing ever.

Dying is bad Real laughter is good, though.

Yeah, I stopped volunteering somewhere because I didn't get along with the person I did it with. But now I'm doing something cool.

But omg, I know! I'd have probably started dying, and hey, that'd have been real laughter.

Depends who you're on with. Just cause someone's a volunteer doesn't mean they're nice.

Shame, cause that woulda been really funny

Drat. It does seem like a cool volunteer thing though.

The mime comedian guy looked nothing like Santa, thankfully. I think the ho ho parts woulda made me laugh if they did, I was thinking of Santa when he did them.

Yeah it sounded awesome. Sadly I was 17 when she did that, so I only got to go to the bar to help collect glasses when it got really busy, I didn't get to see it.

So basically Santa Claus watching a stand up comedian?

That's kinda cool how they can feel the vibrations and enjoy that. So I guess they can recognize the different beats and stuff from that? It does seem interesting to see it, though.

Um Google may explain it better but you do like "Ha ha!" -clapping here- "He he!" -clapping- "Ho ho!" or there's different routines for it but we stuck to the basics. I didn't like it, I can't fake laugh so it depressed me.

That's so awesome. My mum once worked at a party full of deaf people (we both volunteer at a bar sometimes) and she said the music was loud so they could feel the vibrations but everyone was just sat at their tables frantically moving their hands about. Apart from the music it was silent. She said it was really interesting.
I know what you mean, in a room full of new people, having the focus on you - even just for a second - is a nightmare. I haven't heard of that, what is it?

It definitely was. The American School For The Deaf was there, although I didn't have any in my group. They did a dance at the talent show which was awesome though. To clap it's basically waving your hands, I learned.

Sadly I didn't participate as much as I should've in the discussion parts, preferring to listen and watch in a room full of strangers and I didn't do the community activity because I wasn't going to stand up in front of the ENTIRE Youth Forum. I didn't participate in Laughter Yoga either. Have you ever heard of that?
