    You're never a bother!

    Thanks, I appreciate that.

Usually I have carne asada tacos if I'm at an actual restaurant. Other than that, usually chicken.

Thanks! I just am always afraid of being a bother haha.

Aw, if you want to vent about anything you have my number! <3 I hope you feel better soon.

What do you normally have on your tacos? Like chicken or beef?

If you want to text me the email before you send it, I can proof it and make suggestions if they're needed.

Stressed and in a weird depression funk, if I'm being honest. But I'm about to go get tacos, so that's a plus.

The deadline for the leadership part itself is August 5th, and the deadline for the early move in request is August 12, if that makes a difference? I got the leadership part in but the person who runs it says that we can't apply for the early move in until she contacts us, and I don't even see the application on my housing portal.

Then there's the fun part of figuring out how to word the email because I'm insecure

    How are you?

I'd give it 3-5 business days. Depending on when the deadline is, I might lean more towards 3.

Hahah, at least you stayed active.

Sounds good! Hopefully you get to live with your friend. Always better than living with strangers.

I'm hoping they let me! I sent in the retreat part of the thing on Friday and then the weekend happened, so how many days should I give it before I follow up?

This is one of the less active ones. I was in a few of varying activity levels.

Yeah, that type of thing! I mightttt change rooms if my friend's room is still open but I'm not sure if her room will show up because she's technically the RA. The room change process is the 3rd. So I might have to email the hall director. If she says no I'm good where I am though.

You should definitely do the early move-in and pick the bed by the window. It doesn't make you a jerk. I would do the same thing if I had the choice.

Fun fact: I didn't even know you were in an honor society.

Okay, gotcha. But you do have a kitchen and common living area and stuff?

Both of those jobs sound really good and really rewarding. Do you hope for one over the other? I hope you get one of them though, you'd be great at it.

It'll be in the townhouses, which are still two people per room.

SOOO I still held my secretary position over an honor society after I graduated.
All clubs and organizations have to go to a leadership retreat.
Perk of said retreat? Early move in.
As long as they don't try to deny me for whatever reason because I'm technically a grad student and not undergrad, I get to move in a few days before everyone else, on the 23rd rather than the 27th. I mean, the president and VP are both grad students, although one or both are resigning they finished out their first year of grad students in these positions. So why would I be any different? But then again, this is my school you're talking about.
Why is this a perk? Because I don't know any of my roommates and get to pick the bed by the window.
Does that make me a jerk.

I'd also get to move in all the freshies and be like HEY I CAME BACK FOR MORE SO YOU CAN DO IT

I have two interviews set up. One is working in a group home and the other is as a job coach for people with developmental disabilities.

You got it dude. It'll be an apartment, right?
