I've been playing ball since I was five, softball since I was nine. I can't run fast, but if you hit it really far you don't have to.
If you can learn to bunt though and you can run, you'll do well. You should already be able to catch and stuff, I hope.
I hate having to rewrite stuff. :-/ I feel bad for you. -
