- So, I have a girlfriend of a year and a month now and I she has said many times that she use to be a cutter when she was younger and that she really hasn't cut like she use to. I love her dearly and I really want to help her get past all of this stuff, but this is something new to me. I never had to deal with anything like this before and I really don't know what to do, because it's starting to take it's affect on me.
