Lights All Around

Lights all around, beaming on me. I step forward and look around but no one seems to be in the same room I am. I call out, nothing but my echoes reach back to my ears. I begin to walk the clicking of my shoes resonate in this, what seems to be a room, I'm in. The heat of the lights slowly begin to make me feel light headed and dizzy but I continue to walk, ignoring my bodies apparent need to rest. I'm searching, for what I don't know but there’s a need to search for someone or something. Though it makes it utterly pointless knowing I have no knowledge of what. Then in the far distance I can see what seems to be a dark spot in the room a place where the lights aren't shining. Slowly I make my way towards the dark spot but the closer I get to it the further and further away it seems to be come. Frustrated I begin to run towards this space, but my apparent need to rest resurfaces once more but I push myself none the less to keep reaching for that one spot. It's as if all my determination that I had in me to for my searching has found a place to drive itself and I push to reach it. Suddenly right when I feel I'm making progress the lights in this room beginning to go out one by one. Stopping dead in my tracks I turn to see them slowly go out, one by one. In a matter of moments I'm surrounded by the darkness I was once running for. I begin to let fright set in as an eerie mood lingers where I stand. Then everything goes dark.....
