Smile Self harm free :D - December 12th 2013, 02:51 PM

I am such a happy person right now I have just looked at the calender and I have been self harm free for 6 months all thanks to my amazing boyfriend who has kept me strong. I just want to say that stopping self harm is possible its not easy at all in anyway but it is possible. I have had so many times where I have wanted to just start again but when I sit and think about it there is not really a reason behind it I used to to it because I was stressed but now when I get stressed I just sit and write, think about the good things, talk to my boyfriend and give his mate a call who always cheers me up. They never fail to make me smile.

I just want people to know that giving up self harm is not easy and it dose not just happen, but it is possible and it does feel good when you stop and like I have done looked back at the calander and seen how long it has been that I haven't done it for. the feeling of being able to wear clothes without having to worry about marks on my arms and I don't have to be ashamed to show off my body I am so happy now I am more settled.

I would just like to say that if anyone wants someone to talk to and want some advice on what to do then you are always more than welcome to message me on here or on kik or twitter. I am always willing to be a listening ear a shoulder to cry on or just someone to give you some advice or support you can talk to me about anything I will do all I can to help.

That is great! It is inspiring to hear about others who have been through it and came out better on the other end. There are those who just tell you 'It's going to be okay' and 'you'll get through this' but I always dismiss them knowing that they don't understand what it's like.
It's nice to hear it from someone who understands. Keep up the amazing work! You are so amazing to have made it 6 months!

HAPPINESS is just waiting for me to take it; I truly believe that now.
