did they do the right thing? technically, no... they can't be the judge jury and executioner, but at the same time, i don't feel bad for the guy one bit, and i can't help but feel that this is way more justice than he'd get in jail.
PM me any time, ok? I'm always here to help.
What's the second amendment for? Just in case the government takes away the first.

From what I understand, child rapists are very likely to get beaten, raped or killed themselves while in jail by their fellow inmates. When you go to prison, you don't want your fellow prisoners to know that you're there for raping a child. Not defending them, just saying, they do get quite an amount of 'justice' enacted on them.
I can understand the rage of the community, but attacking and lynching is never a good thing. We have a justice system in place for a reason, and civilians have no right to take things into their own hands.

Well no, violence is never the answer. The right thing would have been contacting the police so he could be arrested.Although, honestly what those city folks did will look like nothing compared to what other prisoners might do if they find out.

If only I could have joined in the beating! I think they did the right thing, it might have kept alive longer...cuz once they find out why he's in jail...it wont be pretty!
