Numbness on my left thigh? -
June 5th 2022, 11:43 PM
The past few days my left thigh has been going numb, like I don't know how to explain it, but it will just randomly go numb and I will have like a loss of sensation, I did bash my thigh like a few days ago and the numbness has like been since then , but my thigh does not hurt, its not like its gone to sleep as such either because theres no pins and needles just numbness and its just my left thigh no other part of my body.If I punch my thigh I can feel that but it feels numb, I looked up online and it suggested a trapped nerve or nerve damage but I am not sure its that because its not like my whole thigh just like one area of my thigh and I have like got no other symptoms at all. It is really weird, I know if it doesn't improve I will need to a see DR. But has anyone else ever had anything like this or similar? its not to do with me being in one position for too long etc as it can happen randomly like I can be walking and it will happen I can be sitting down and it will happen, its weird very weird and its not like full numb because I can feel somethings as such like if I punch my thigh I can feel that.

I get that in my wrist sometimes but I never figured out why. Do you think it's related to when you bashed it? Do you have any bruising or anything like that?
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life

I could be to do with when I bashed it but there’s not like any bruising etc it is the same leg as the one that a couple weeks ago when I playing football I felt a twinge but I don’t think it’s that . I did wonder if my knickers are too tight round my leg/ upper thigh but I don’t think it’s that because it would be on both sides.

Hello,
I am so sorry that you are going through this and I hope that you will be okay soon. If you have any bruises on you or you just hurt, try getting some ice and put that on you for a while. Ice can help you to feel better, put it on you for 15 to 20 minutes. You can also take Ibuprofen and it helps with the inflammation and pain. Also you can try calling your doctor and letting them know about this and they will be able to help you so that you feel better soon. I hope you will be okay soon.

I think I know what it was. I was taking vitamin D and iron tablets and then stopped taking them for a few days and thats Also when the numbness started, I've since re-started the iron and vitamin D tablets aswell as taking an omega 3 tablet and the numbness hasn't been there today.
