Anxiety attack vs. Panic attack - April 28th 2025, 01:37 PM

Anxiety attack vs. Panic attack
__________________________________________________
Anxiety Attack

Triggered
Builds up slowly
Less Intense than panic attacks
May include feelings of worry, distress, muscle tension, and physical symptoms like a racing heart or difficulty breathing.
Anxiety attacks are often associated with a feeling of being overwhelmed by worry or stress, but not necessarily a sense of losing control in the same way as a panic attack.

Panic Attack

Can occur unexpectedly and without a clear trigger.
Sudden and abrupt surge of fear or terror.
Characterized by intense fear, often with severe physical symptoms.
Typically lasts for a shorter period, usually 5-20 minutes, though some can last longer.
May include a rapid heart rate, chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, sweating, and a feeling of being detached from oneself or surroundings.
Panic attacks are often associated with a feeling of losing control and a fear of dying.

Breathe in, breathe out
My middle name is nervous breakdown
I sure could use a friend
Cheaper than Vicodin
Fake lives, fake love
Got money but I still feel bankrupt
It's so hard to fit in
When there's no oxygen

Thanks for differentiating for people! I definitely get tons of anxiety attacks.

Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
