Education and Careers Work of any kind can get stressful at times. Ask in this forum if you need help with coursework, applications, and more.
One of my favorite threads. It is getting to be that time for many of us to go back to school and college. So what are your goals for the upcoming semester?
Mine are:
- Have this semester help boost my GPA
- Get into the Education program
- Not skip class (Unless I really urgently need to do so!)
- Take less naps
- Be more involved!
Good luck with your upcoming semester everyone!

Today is the first day of my summer holidays and I really shouldn't be thinking about school right now, but the next two years are the most important ones of my career as a student, so there is nothing wrong with setting some goals already and hopefully achieving them
1) Improve my grades in maths
2) Meet new people and try to find some friends among them
3) Do really well in all of my language classes
4) Speak up at least once every school day
5) Gain self confidence in presentations
6) Help others whenever I can and try to be nice at all times

1. Maintain my GPA.
2. Ask for help when needed.
3. Get more comfortable with presentations.
4. Start to figure out what path I want to take, etc, so next year I can figure out where I'd really like to intern.
5. Not let working weekends get in my way.
6. Go to club meetings more than I did last year. I kind of fizzled.
7. Have fun with my friends.
8. Better organize.
9. Manage my time better.

1. Lower my stress levels. 2. Make it through the semester while maintaining my GPA, this will be the most loaded semester I've taken. 3. Try to be more active with my friends/family/fiancee as opposed to devoting every second to school.

My goals for university are:
Be more social by engaging in at least some social events.
Work on a revision/study plan.
Stick to revision/study plan.
Actually revise/study!
Monitor my diet. I want to focus on eating more healthily than I do at home since I won't have to worry about buying for anybody else but me.
Start working out. I want to take full advantage of the gym and start getting fitter and in a better shape than I currently am.
Don't spend unnecessary amounts of time at the computer screen. This was a terrible habit I had back in college.
Take part in at least some outdoor activities.
Get a new phone and work on being a bit more literate. Anyone who has texting fever will probably hate me because I take forever to respond to people due to how little I use my phone. Plus it's kind of old as I've never really had the need to use one besides the built-in camera.
