Did you color code your school folders? - March 11th 2022, 11:31 PM

Did you color code your school folders and notebooks? What colors?
Math was red, science was orange, social studies was blue, and English was purple. Then Spanish class was yellow, and I don’t remember what my health class was.

Re: Did you color code your school folders? - March 12th 2022, 08:39 PM

No, only because I had a separate binder for each class and put my note books inside the binders. My binders this time I tried college was a unicorn one and rainbow cheetah print, notebooks was pineapple and ones with sayings. Oh I also had colored rules binder paper so pink, and blue was in one binder orange and yellow in the other.

Oh yes, but I used different colors every year, just to change them. I tried to use a binder but the backpack gets too heavy with it.

No, I didn't know it was a thing! But I did use different colored pens for different things, as well as highlighters. They were mainly for homework assignments, though; not to sort through folders for different classes.

I definitely did this, but I think I would change colours and the subjects they corresponded to each year/semester.

Re: Did you color code your school folders? - March 14th 2022, 12:04 PM

I didn't really colour code books in school, but I remember when I was younger in school, and we were encouraged to put self adhesive film on the books, so mine were different colours but that's all. In university, I did English and education studies so one folder was Winnie the Pooh (English) and the other folder for education was plain

Kind of. I had separate notebooks (three and five subject) to take notes in middle school and high school, and when I was younger and used folders I had color codes, but I don't remember what was what, except I think science was always green.

In elementary and middle school, when each class had separate folders, notebooks, and sometimes binders, I did, but I switched the colors every year. In high school, I used accordion folders for all my papers and just remembered which notebook was which.

I thought color coding would be more common.
