What is your most fascinating experience in studying a school subject? - April 14th 2025, 05:08 PM

My favorite subject in school is English. I’ve always enjoyed learning the language, not only because it’s widely spoken around the world but also because it opens up so many opportunities for communication, travel, and understanding different cultures.

One of the most memorable experiences I had with English was when I attended a language camp in the United Kingdom. It was an amazing opportunity to practice the language in an immersive environment. I spent several weeks in an English-speaking country, where I could apply what I had learned in the classroom to real-life situations.
And what is your most fascinating experience in studying a school subject?

I went to the World Health Organization for one of my classes.

Re: What is your most fascinating experience in studying a school subject? - April 17th 2025, 10:13 AM

for me it was in a science class
where i live spring gets hot real fast
and the science classroom is old so it doesnt have much air conditioining
and because its so hot no one really pays attention in class on those hot days
like we use these giant loud fans in the hallway to try and sirculate air
its crazy

anyways
so we went into science and we were goofing off
and our teacher was all "oh so you dont want to study today?"
and we told her "nah were good"
and she said "oh so no one wants ice cream?"
and we were all "what"

then she pulls out this giant stirofome container of ice cubes
and a bunch of cups and spoons and plastic bags
and all these ingredeints
and she goes "i said i guess no one wants to make ice cream"
and kenzie was all "but how do we make ice cream?"
and teacher said "well id show you but yall said you didnt want to study so..."

well that made us change our mind real quickly
so it turns out you can make ice cream in bags
you put the ingredeints in the small bag
then you put ice cubes and salt into a bigger bag
then you put the small bag in the big bag and shake it all up nonstop for like 5 minutes
boom
ice cream in the small bag
i even know how it happens!
its because the salt mixes with the ice and the ice could melt below freezing which meant the small bag could freeze and turn into ice cream

so basically yeah i learned something in class and i got ice cream that i made myself lol

I was always interested in History, especially WWII. It actually wasn't during school but I've been to a few places around the world that have significant importance due to the war.

I recommend participating in a historical reenactment. Should be a great experience!
