Why am I so awkward around this guy at work? -

There's this guy at work, hes one of my supervisor actually, and I am so awkward around him. Like I can't make eye contact with him, and if I do I instantly look away and get embarrassed (I don't do this on purpose) and I just feel extremely awkward whenever he's around. I can't really explain it. It sucks.
I think it has something to do with the fact that hes a male authority figure. Because I felt the same way about my male teachers in hs. I think I feel slightly scared and intimidated and nervous when hes around. I don't have any logical reason to feel that way though. Is there any way I can work on this? Thank you. Ps. I'm 19 and hes around 24.Why am I so awkward around this guy at work? |
