Chat won't work on Chrome for me -

It says I have to update Java but when I try it says this:
Quote:
Chrome does not support Java 7. Java 7 runs only on 64-bit browsers and Chrome is a 32-bit browser.
If you download Java 7, you will not be able to run Java content in Chrome and will need to use a 64-bit browser (such as Safari or Firefox) to run Java content within a browser. Additionally, installing Java 7 will disable the ability to use Apple Java 6 on your system.
Is there a way to get 64-bit Chrome for Mac? I have to use Firefox everytime I use chat. It's not that big a deal but I don't like switching browsers.

I'm not really sure about that to be honest, have you tried resetting your settings for java in chrome? or maybe try uninstalling it and re-installing the latest version.
I'm here if anyone wants to talk, I'm always here. Feel free to VM or PM me
Java 7 is 64-bit only. In Mac OS, Google Chrome is 32-bit only. BUT, the 64-bit Google Chrome is ONLY available for those who have the Linux operating system.
