Kindle Paperwhite. - September 19th 2021, 01:37 PM

So, my Kindle Paperwhite has been getting very warm after extended use. I've only begun to notice this yesterday, after I'd been reading on it for about five hours; not all at once, both times I put it down, it felt warm.

Is this normal? I got it less than two years ago.

Is it in a cover all the time? If yes, you could try removing the cover and see whether that helps.

If not, I suggest you contact Kindle's support (maybe it's still on warranty?)
All the best

Hi!
I saw it's a problem for kindle 3 Gen. Pretty normal anyway. After one hour of usage, it in fact gets warm.

I don't have a kindle paperwhite. I have an oasis and I think some heat is normal but the best bet would be contacting Amazon. They have a live chat option that I use primarily

I own a Paperwhite myself and sometimes facing the same issue. I guess that is sort of a manufacturing flaw. The other day Amazon refreshed the Paperwhite series so maybe I will get a new device.
