Holly Leaf Tattoo, Need Opinion

These are the tats I have now, because I forgot to post them! I finally got that tat done that I told you all about =)





I'm getting Holly Leaves, but I'm not sure if I should get them on both sides of my hip, or just one side. What do you think?

Cool tattoos, they look great. As for getting the Holly Leaves tattoo, if I were you I would only get it on one side of my hip. I would do that because it's nice to have a tattoo but, you don't want it to be too big, it might look a little off if you did that. Good luck in getting the tattoos and I hope you like them.

As far as the Leaves go, I'd get them on just one side. I was thinking of getting another peace sign tattoo on my left hip (I have one on my right) and figured it wouldn't look as good after it was done. So, I'd go with just one side of the hip.

I have a hip tattoo, didn't hurt at all, the hardest part was just not breathing and messing it all up by moving. I plan on getting both hips done, A pentagram on one side, and a buddhist eight spoked wheel on the other. I would start off with one though, and when you have more money, maybe have the artist draw it out first on the other hip, look in a mirror and see how it looks. They'd much rather draw it out first, and make sure you like it than do something that might look silly.

Hip tattoos is one spot where the pain is different for everyone. I've heard of people saying it barely hurt, but for me it was the worst pain ever. However as you know, don't worry about the pain, do it if you want it. If you managed to get your foot done, I'm sure you can handle your hip
I would just get one side for now. Then you can decide if you would like it on both sides or not, and it will be cheaper to just do one side. Healing will also be easier because you'll just have one side to worry about.

I'm a Phlebotomist and I'm very used to needles. The tattoos didn't that bad, more stinging than anything.

So you don't think 2 little Holly leaves facing outwards from my hips would look cute? What if they were smaller?

Well as you know, if you like it then go for it.
I think it could look cute, but it will depend on what the leaves look like. The more I think about it, the more I like both sides actually. If the tattoo parlor has trace paper, you could always have them put it on both sides so that you can decide whether you want just one or not.

My friend was going to have a bow of each of her hips, she screamed and said it was the worst place she has got a tat and only had one done. so i say if you going to get both done... do them in different sittings... but personally i would get just one hip done not both x

I've decided I'm going to get 2 of them done =) I just think it will look "balanced" that way. And at the same time sexy. But not "slutty", pardon me I just think some tattoos can give off the wrong idea.
