I spent time with my boyfriend today away from school. So nice to spend some proper alone time together, especially after we've had a few ups and downs this week because of my mood .... I looooove him

I just got a letter from an organization called the Congressional Youth Leadership Council and it seems i have been chosen to be go to Washington D.C. for ten days when apparently "Fewer than one percent of all high-achieving high school students are pressented with this opportunity".

Today my boyfriend was complimenting my singing voice to a guitarist in his band and they wanted me to be the lead singer. I couldnt, because I dont have the time but I wanted to and it made me so happy to know that I can sing well enough for someone to want me to do that.
Also I got Mary Poppins on DVD today and watched it for the first time since I was about 6 or 7. I felt like the old me again.
