Together with Emmie (Golfing girl) we made an infographic about the traditions
in our countries in the upcoming time - end of October and beginning of November.
Emmie provided the information and pictures for Halloween in the US, and I filled in the part about All Saints' Day in Poland.
I like the contrast between customs observed in different parts of the world.
Even though Halloween is not a traditional holiday in Poland, it has gained a lot of popularity in recent years, especially among young people,
who often celebrate both Halloween on 31 October and All Saints' Day on 1 November (I do, for instance -
throwing a Halloween party with some friends and dressing up is so much fun ).
What do you usually do in this period? Do you observe any customs? Perhaps you have some traditions that are unique to your family?
Thank you Emmie for coming up with the idea of creating a graphic together
I am so glad you shared this and taught us a little about the traditions in Poland! That was really informative and it sounds like a very special and honoring event.
I don’t really do anything for Halloween anymore. I used to trick or treat as a kid but now I stay home.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
This is so exciting! I have a best friend who is Polish and I didn't know about that tradition!
I love Halloween, though maybe I'm a little biased because it's my birthday lol

Thank you Sue for sharing with us what you do to celebrate in Poland. I had a lot of fun working with you on this and I like how this looks, it's lovely. My younger sister and I are going to dress up and take our little cousins out for trick or treating and then watch a movie together and make hot chocolate, popcorn and pizza.

The graphic you made is so nice! It's always cool to learn about how others celebrate the holidays. Thanks for sharing and I hope everyone had a nice time celebrating.
