Today is Earth Day, and something we're considering across the site this year is how to connect to nature to benefit our mental health. What does earth mean to you? What are your favorite parts of it? Maybe you like the sunset or a beautiful hiking trail. How are you contributing towards Earth Day and our planet's overall health?
This is a calculator that asks questions to determine the carbon you use. It doesn't consider certain aspects such as living in a rural area without access to public transportation, but is a cool calculator, nonetheless. Give it a try if you have a few spare minutes!

I try and recycle as much as possible as well as trying to reduce my carbon footprint.

Earth day is a lovely day to have. I love going for hikes, being outside with my three lovely dogs and doing fun things outdoors. It's a lovely feeling to have.

Happy Earth Day 
I recycle, eat mostly plant-based foods and avoid plastic. On Earth Day I was able to travel to a rural area and walk barefoot, since the weather was wonderful. Yesterday I went for half a day hiking trip in the forest.
