annoying people

for the past uhh 3 weeks life has been pretty bad for us
mom has been a real one but im starting to not trust most strangers
especialy if they own a bisness


so like heres the deal
we moved into a new apartment a month ago
and there was a ton of flooding and heavy rain right?
well our apartment flooded
none of our stuff was ruined because i was home when it happened and i got most of our stuff off the floor
but the guy who owns the whole building was all "yeah... sorry bout that but we cant do anything"
mom was all "you can and you will"
and he was all "i cant and i wont"


well he doesnt actually own the building his dad does
and mom knows someone who knows him
and she practically kicked in his office door and told him what happened while he was in a meeting with investers
she had pictures and videos of convos and all that
well that made him mad but he had to do something to help us since if he didnt then investers wouldnt give him money to buy more apartments
so we got moved into a different apartment complex for a lower rent but its a better place


and then it got broken into even though its a gated comunity


well mom was beside herself
she didnt care about most of our stuff being stolen she was upset because if i had been home when we were robbed i couldve been hurt
the dad owner was all "not my problem we arent responsable" things like that
so moms been recording and copying and sharing everything with local news
ive never seen her this angry
and i dont like her being angry


anyways


were staying with my dads side of the family for a while
i havent been on here because life just keeps getting worse and worse
i learned how to make coffee tho
i did that to try and help mom in the morning
she says its sweet but then i get mad because im just trying to help not be sweet
she doesnt get it
but
im not gonna get mad at her when shes doing so much


so yeah


i dont get why bisness people only care about money
like i could steal money from mom
but then later on she wouldnt give me any
so like
why hurt people who are willing to pay you money for a long time?
why try to make there lifes worse and be mean to them?
dont you want to do whatever you can to make them pay you more money for longer?
okay so you gotta pay something up front to get them to stay
big deal
idk how much money mom pays since she says im not old enough to worry about it
but like lets say its 100 every month
well this calculater says that she would give them 1200 a year
idk how much it is to fix a gate maybe its 1000 to fix it
but then we wouldve still given them 200 after a year so


idk


im just annoyed
especially since im surounded by old women now who just wanna watch this chanel that is nothing but movies of girls marrying princes
not like cartoons real people i mean
aunt lauren and mom are just so old... there almost 40 and im all like "hey can we not watch this"
and aunt lauren is all "did you do your homework" as if me doing homework is the only thing preventing her from watching poop on tv...


i still love her dont get me wrong

Ugh, it's so awful when landlords are like that. There are some that actually care and others that are definitely in it for the money and don't actually care about the people that they are renting to. Do you think your mom can get a consultation with a lawyer to see if there is anything that can be done legally about this? Sometimes the consult is free, and sometimes they also say they won't get paid unless you win the case, but that's not always guaranteed. I've heard of people withholding rent and putting it into an escrow account until problems are fixed, but I'd say to consult a legal professional before going for that. I'm sorry that this is happening!

mom told me its not my job to worry about this stuff and shell take care of it
im thankful for the advice tho
its just hard to not worry since im in the middle of it
i wish i could find like a 100 dollar bill so we could take a vacation you know?
just destress and relax and forget all this
