Less than a week ago, Bondi and the Jewish community were hit by a terrible assault that sent shockwaves around the nation and world.

What are your thoughts on what happened?

This is sad when something like this happens. to all.

This was a terrible act of antisemitism, one of the many that has happened this year. It has only been increasing since Israel defended itself against the attack by Hamas on October 7th 2023. What happened at the Hanukkah celebrations on Bondi Beach was not a one-off incident, and fifteen people died. These poor people had nowhere to shelter when the bullets began to fly, but there were several individuals who were notable for saving lives either giving their own in the process or getting injured.

We have to keep the light shining bright and fight back against antisemitism.
