can’t stop feeling turned on -
November 3rd 2020, 12:13 PM
I am a 15 year old girl and the past few days I can’t stop feeling turned on and its really starting to bother me because I want it to go away but it just won’t. I thought maybe if I masturbated it would go away but now I feel super guilty and scared because I didn’t want to do it. This is causing me so much stress and anxiety I can’t focus on anything else.

Don't feel guilty about it. It is completely normal and extremely common. People of all ages masturbate and it's often the first sexual experience they have.

Hi there,
First of all, don't be too hard on yourself. I've been exactly where you are now, and I know how stressful it can get. But, as I've had to learn the hard way, beating yourself over feeling a certain way is only going to do more harm for you than good.
Don't forcibly try to stop yourself from engaging in such activity, that's not going to work. Over time, these urges will stabilise. Remember, you can't ignore the effect of hormones at your age - that's probably the reason you're feeling "turned on". It's beyond your conscious control if it's your hormones' work, isn't it?
At your age, it's natural to want to explore your sexuality. It's something we all go through, trust me. You'll realise that the more you stress over this, the more difficult it will be to overcome this. Don't feel too bad about the feelings you're experiencing. If anything, having a more accepting frame of mind and being mindful that we do get these urges from time to time will naturally take care of the frequency and depth of such thoughts.

Hey lovely,
Honestly, this is a normal teen thing to go through, no need to be scared, or guilty about it.
It's one of our natural bodys natures and not something we can always just make go away.
What you did was what most would do. Dont be ashamed of yourself.
I fell in love the way you fall asleep. Slowly then all at once <3

Nothing wrong with masturbation, but at 15 the chances your hormones are raging is a big poss. By 16, 17 or so, one's hormones settle down a bit, but hormones pretty much rage when people are younger.

I keep getting the same feelings too. At first I thought I was crazy or something was wrong. Then there was a class at school and I figured it out better.

Honestly I think is something you like a lot, I think this isn't a crime!. It's not something easy, you should follow it deeper and win your state of tension once for all. You have nothing to fear.
