Re: Heterosexual but biromantic?

Biromantic heterosexual is absolutely a term! It's been a term for decades. But remember, find what works best for you and try not to conform to what labels society places upon you. Whatever makes you feel the most comfortable, the most genuine, go with that. Also remember this: your label can change at any time and that is ok!

I get what youre saying! Bisexual doesnt quite fit but as far as I know there isnt a name for what you experience, but thats okay, its just an experience there isnt a name for.

Hi there,

Whatever term that suits you best is what you should go for! You are what you feel.

Re: Heterosexual but biromantic?

Biromantic heterosexual is absolutely a thing! You can definitely only feel sexual attraction to one gender, but romantic attraction to both, or vice versa.

The best thing about labels is that only you get to decide what is most fitting for your life experience and the way that you feel. If biromantic heterosexual feels like the best fit for you, then that's absolutely the label that you should use!

Re: Heterosexual but biromantic?

Yes! Biromantic heterosexual is absolutely a thing and if you think that label fits you, go for it and use it. Romantic and sexual attraction can be two different things for some people, and that's okay. You can be romantically attracted to a certain gender but not sexually, or vice versa. I think biromantic heterosexual is the most accurate term for this that I know of.

Heterosexual but biromantic?

Is it possible to be biromantic but heterosexual? I think I like both men and women but I only really feel sexual feelings towards men - is this possible? Does the term 'biromantic' only apply to people who are on the asexual spectrum? Is there a more accurate term for this? Should I just call myself 'bisexual' to keep it simple? Thank you for any input!
