Can we please stop using Discord chat

I really miss the old chat style. I don't like discord for a variety of reasons. Can we please stop using it? It thought my account through my email was an "unclaimed account" and then when I deleted it, it didn't let me use my email make a new discord. It really sucks having to rely on having an account with a third party. Can we please go back to some other chat format? Plus, the change is another relic of 2020. Until then, we had the older chat. I want to go back to a chat format that is easier to use.

Hey there

Sadly that chat software as far as I am aware doesn't even exist anymore. If it did, it likely wouldn't work on whatever web hosting is being used here nowadays. It is likely over the years PHP and MySQL changed, plus whatever other programming it likely required to run. I've seen forums still use vBulletin from way back then, and even phpBB2.

I understand where you're coming from, but IMO I think Discord is the more convenient option in 2024 for many people. The Discord server to me is much like the old chat system used to be plus a bit like IRC.
