Truthfully, I have wanted to cut about eight times in the last two weeks. But the last time I did it (about 3 months ago I think--February 22nd), I hid my scissors and cannot find them...So yeah....

It's not "stupid" and you obviously aren't doing it for "no reason." Nobody cuts for "no reason."
