Poem into a song -

I want to make one of my poems into a song but I need help with it. any suggestions would be great heres the poem:
You Don't Care
Go ahead and drink
Drink until your drunk
Because you apparently don't care
What it's doing to you
Or what it's doing to your baby girl you claim to love
How long did you think you could fool us?
And hide the fact that you are back on drugs
Go ahead and pop those pills
Snort the speed or whatever the fuck you're on now
Because you apparently don't care

I really thought you were straightening up this time around
But once again you just put on an act
And lied straight through your teeth
Telling us you have been going to meetings
And staying away from alcohol
But that was just a bunch of bullshit
Just so you could make us feel happy even though they were lies
So go ahead and lie all you want
Lie to my face
Because you apparently don't care
What lying's doing to you
Or what it's doing to your baby girl you claim to love
We made plans a month ahead of time
For us to spend the day and night together
You kept telling me don't worry I come first
So I got my hopes up
But like usual just ended up
Getting fucked over by my own mother
The one who claims to love her baby girl
Because instead of choosing bowling with me
You chose to get high with your new boy toy
You say you love me
But I honestly think you love
Alcohol and drugs more
Than you ever did love me or ever could
I honestly stopped believing you loved me a long time ago
The word coming out of your mouth is bullshit to me
I'm over this
I'm sick and tired of standing by
While I slowly watch you kill yourself
Do you even notice what it's doing to me?
I'm done worry about fixing are relationship
You apparently didn't want to fix it as much as you led on
I'm done I can't do it anymore
I have to focus on me
And do what's right and best for me
So I'm cutting all ties with you
You've had to many chance
But no more
Your baby girl you claim to love
Is finally realizing you only give a shit about
Alcohol, drugs and your new boy toy when you have one
You don't seem to care about much of anything
But I hope you realize
This is killing me but I have to do what's best for me
So I'm washing you out of my life
This is my last good bye to you
