i am stuck on this poem - April 9th 2013, 02:13 AM
ok heres the deal well i need to write a 20 line poem and this is what i have and im stuck it is about volunteering at a preschool i helped with hw and spent time with kids but i feel this isnt good enough its not showing my dedication


Noah’s Ark
Kids everywhere from age 2 to 11
They talk about God and play all day
We have the turtles age 2 and 3
We have the possums age 4 and 5
Than we have monkeys and lions age 5
Than we have koalas who are kinders so cute and kind
Finally roos 1 though 5th grade
We go from snack time to homework with the roos
Everyone always smiling
kids run to give you hugs making you fall in love
so adorable so sweet
i never thought these kids would change the way I think
How life is so precoius so sweet
i dont want to leaves these kids behind
I have grown to them seeing them everyday
And their smiling faces

I’m catching stars in the sky because I am fixing the soul within me. May it be from the heart a girl broke years ago or my soul simply repairing itself as it was shattered on my walk on this earth. May the stardust fill those cracks within my soul making me brand new, but never forgetting who I once was.

Hmm, maybe if you can you can write something about how you feel the people at this school feel about going there and some of the things you/they like about the school that you've noticed? Or what you feel really strongly about with the school?

Sorry if that's a bad idea, but that's what came to my mind first.
