Abandoned doll
 One eye is gone,
The second eye lost its twinkle

 Her hair falls out
 Her smile needs re-stitching

 Her nose is smashed,
 Her stomach has a dent
 Her hands cannot properly bend

She once had a string across her waist
When kids would make her fly

Now itchy strings lock her arms tight
As she stays in the toy's hospital for the night

They say it is for the night
But you know how parents are
To their thinking, toys are a waste of time

The toy's hospital is in the attic
With spider webs and dust mites

She may even be forgotten there
For the rest of her life
