    I did read the whole thread. I remember these parts especially:

    Ok, that's fine- because I believe that your reasons (somehow believing in a religion that would condemn you infinitely for a finite "crime") are stupid too.

    Yes. Exactly. Just as I could not marry a person who was not pro-birth control, so I cannot be friends with a girl who would doom me (I'm a bisexual atheist) to hellfire forever. Friends don't have to agree on everything, but they should at least agree to not doom each other to hellfire and oblivion for eternity.

    Okay so I read your post apologizing about some sort of debate and I have seen some of the comments below. I could not find the actual thread that everyone is arguing about. But I think that everyone has the right to their own beliefs and calling you sick and disgusting isn't nice at all! From what I can tell my religion believes the same as you. I don't really follow my own religion and I am not sure I agree with it but I wont hate you for what you believe. You seem like a nice person and you don't have to apologize for your opinion.

    Now that I got your attention

    Dont be sorry for sharing your views. Being able to say what you believe is something that is charrished by many; that people today and of the past have died over. It is an amazing thing for us to be able to that. Don't ever take it for granted.

    Now as far as the thread you mentioned. I've read parts and bits of it and its like every other heated thread that happens in the "politics and debate forum". It turns into a "whos bigger" contest. One view against another. Then calling another persons view stupid and not needed. That the other person is a bigot... blah blah blah..

    Honestly, I think everyone should STFU over there and step back from a minute. This is an internet forum. That was in the "politics and debate" section. It was on a touchy subject. So get over it. It happens. It's not the end of the world. It's one thread in the middle of thousands. It's one day in the middle of a million. Its one memory out of a billion.

    Do you see where I'm getting at?

    It's nothing to worry about. Take a deep breath. Understand it's ok for someone else to have differn't views then you. That being able to say whats on your mind and not be killed for it is something that so many people wish they could do, but cant, even in todays world.

    Now everyone get into a politically correct hug circle, forgive, forget and move on.
