Arcade Fire! Yes, I used to be obsessed with those guys. And I'm so proud of them for winning a Grammy on an independent label. That's such a huge accomplishment.

SO have you done your exciting thing, yet? I'm going to a Film Festival

Yes! I love them, Matthew Good put out an album called "Beautiful Midnight" back in the 90s (I think...) that was absolutely incredible. The song "Hello, Time Bomb" kept me sane during my exam period. And Sam Roberts is just wicked. They're both pretty mellow bands for the most part, just good ol' Canadian rock & roll.

I actually find that Canadian music is really similar to Australian music! It's not really over-produced bullshit like the stuff that comes out of the States, it's just really raw, well written music. Maybe I say that just cause I'm Canadian. But whatever!

Good luck with your test and experiment today! I know you'll do well KILL IT!

I did! I just ended up napping when I got home. I convinced her to stay in, but then a friend of ours messaged us saying she wanted to go shopping, so we ended up going out anyways. Bummer. And I spent toooo much money on CDs. Have you heard of Matthew Good or Sam Roberts?

Ah ha our schooling is pretty intensive here, I dunno about you, and we don't really get breaks during that 7 month period of study... It's just kinda one thing after the other. I don't know what schooling is like for you.

Haha I like those bands were telling me about, but you still have to give me a list!

Oh that sucks. My vacation is 5 months But I spend it working 6 days a week. I'm actually busier during the summer than I am during the school year...

I listen to pretty much anything. I played in a jazz combo for a couple years, then moved to play in the band I'm in now. My iTunes is pretty eclectic, I've got everything from Led Zeppelin to Esthero, Paramore to Bill Evans, Alexisonfire to John Mayer. I actually LOVE hip hop and r&b, I want to play drums for Jay Z, haha.

The only problem with Uni is maintaining my grades in the program, and I might be there longer than I'd like to be. I don't think I could spend more than a month away from my family.

Haha, you just gotta buckle down and get 'er done! Try and set goals for yourself. If you look at your homework pile as a whole, things might seem overwhelming!

Ah ha! Thanks. The photographer was trying to make me look like a hobo, so he didn't really edit my face, he just adjusted the lighting. I also purposely didn't shave that day either, even though I shave every day. I get a ridiculous beard if I let it go. Haha! I do lots of work outside, so I have a crazy farmer's tan. It's gross :/

Jealous! Whenever I'm in school, it's always cold and snowing, cause I'm in class from Sept - April (so Fall - Winter for us). And I HAVE heard of Adelaide! I used to be obsessed with Australia cause one of my most favourite bands ever is from Australia. You've probably heard of Jet. I loved them when I was like, 14. I want to go to Australia! I was talking to my friend the other day about backpacking through Australia, but we have to look into hostels and flight costs... It's kind of expensive to travel. Booooo.

So you have anything planned for your last week then? I'm pretty sure I'm just going to go to a party and do something stupid. Bad decisions usually lead to good stories, although I don't recommend doing that often, lol!

LOL omg, women like that kill. There's this woman who comes to my family's annual gatherings who's like that. She isn't directly related to us, she's in a common law relationship with one of my great uncles. She's like, 60 years old and still wears two piece swimsuits. Weird. But she calls me hunk, LOL, which used to be funny, but now it's just awkward.

I treat university like a job. I work at it 9 - 5 and then as soon as 5 comes around, I stop doing uni work and do other stuff I finished my second year with a B+ average, so I guess it worked lol!

The headshots are for an endorsement that I'm trying to work out with a drum company. They asked for a press kit, so the photos are a part of that. I've also got to include a list of gigs over the next couple months, videos, and recordings of my performances.

I WISH THERE WAS A BEACH NEAR MY HOUSE. I'm jealous. I have to drive an hour to get to the nearest beach... So whereabouts in Australia are you, then? Is it a small town I've probably never heard of ? And I play shows with my band pretty often, we usually do anywhere from 5 to 10 shows in a month, and even more if we are touring LOL have fun, I wish I could help xD

LOL so she's kinda hot but has no boobs? Does she come in with her fake tans and sun glasses? AND IS SHE OLD?! Cause that would be gross.

Haha, I just stay calm. It amuses me when they get angrier and angrier as you don't react. Maybe that's just me.

Naw, sleep is for the week! I hope your Friday night was lovely as well! Sorry it took me forever to get back to. Was busy :/ Band had a few shows and I was getting headshots done! How's the weekend treating you?

I worked as a barista for a bit, too! I couldn't remember the drinks people ordered, I came up with this theory that you can judge how much of a douche someone is by how long the name of their drink is. So if it was like, "A 185-degree venti americano with steamed milk, golden sugar, with a shot of hazelnut and espresso," they were a huge douche. If it was "a tall coffee," they were a normal, sane person. Some people are nuts!

Haha, I agree about chat. AND THEY UPDATED IT so it's even more confusing :/ And it makes my computer lag, but when you're bored at 3 am, lol...
