    Thanks Mitch!
What a super great message to get!!
But quite seriously - 'putting up with' isn't teen specific.
In fact - the age group the tends to drive me nuts is my own!! lol
That said... I think teenagers 'these day' have been cheated.
And my heart goes out to them.
They are being raised by parents who have bought into the lie that 'stuff' will compensate for anything.
    But it doesn't.
Most teenagers - like every other human being - want and NEED intimacy.
And you can't buy that at a store.
That's why I try to be as nice as I can be to everyone I meet.
Who knows... I might be the only person who has EVER been nice to them.
And that being the case - it matters - sometimes - to some people - more than I could ever imagine.
    Sheesh!!
You must have pushed the 'talk now' button!! lol
    Thanks again, Mitch.
    I think you're a wonderful guy!!
    GREAT BIG HUG
    Craig!!

    Hi Enjoyinglife!!
I enjoyed reading that as much as - IF not more - than you enjoyed writing it!!
I'm not sure Canada is THAT great - but it's pretty good!!
So you live in Victoria too. That old Queen sure got around!! Imagine the ego of naming so many places after yourself!! LOL
Where you live sounds very interesting. I'd love to see pictures of it. [Do you have any?] On my facebook page you can see where I live. [In my 'My backyard' album] But you'll have become one of my facebook friends first!! [Hint!]
So you live in the 'best house on the worst street'. LOL Is that good?! Do all of your neighbours think that you're a family of 'snobs'?! lol "Look at them and their fancy house!!" Central Way sounds fascinating. It's nice to live so close to 'something to do'. It makes life more interesting!!
Just so you know - I might be going away for a few days. So if you don't hear from me - you'll know why!! My mom has a cabin 'up Island' [About 2 hours away] and I'm thinking of staying there for a day or two. [Or three] It's on the water and has a wonderful view. The cabin is small but the location is wonderful.
Take very good care of yourself.
    GREAT BIG HUG

    Craig!!

Haha. That sounds amazing! I want to go to Canada. It sounds like the kinda place where you get to be a kid again. And you get to marvel on the simple aspects of life - without the worry of being judged or flamed for being childish. It sounds... well, epic.

Funnily enough, I live in Victoria! Just a different Victoria. I live in Victoria, Australia. Close to the outback - technically the suburbs, but if you head 300 metres west of my house, you hit the bush. It isn't the most appealing place, I must say. When you head places, overseas and to different cities, you tend to avoid the suburbs and the surrounding wasteland, and that's the way it is here. If you're lucky enough to come to Melbourne, Australia, you probably won't see the area I live in - though, I don't think its all bad. We're a generally plain suburb - we're cut down the middle by a rather large shopping centre (or mall, or what have you) and are a relatively low-income area, though my house is what people call "the best house on the worst street," so its not all bad. Not like your Victoria, but my Victoria has its perks. The city is amazing. There are buskers on every corner, cultures of all kinds, religions preaching their daily gospel on every doorstep, and there's this one AMAZING alleyway that is a must-see for anyone. It's called Central Way, and the small yet easily maneuverable alleyway has almost 15 coffee shops, bars, cafes... all privately run businesses that make an absolute massacre in profits. Street photographers take pictures of the alleyway - I was once lucky enough to be asked to have my photo taken smoking a cigarette and drinking my cappucino - and bands from all different genres play where the alley-way meets the modernised shopping centre, in a corner upon a few steps from a closed-down alleyway coffeeshop. It's an absolutely amazing place.

Wow, that was fun. I actually enjoyed writing that. Hehe.

    Hi Enjoyinglife!!
    Thanks again.
Victoria - I have to admit - is a beautiful city. I'm lucky to call Victoria my home. The 'neat' part is that I'm only a few blocks away from most of the fun, touristy 'things'. So I'm always surrounded by horse drawn carriages, and double-decker buses, pedicabs, limos and so on. I can see cruise ships from my window!! There is almost always something going on - something to do or see. It's like living in Disneyland!! lol Have you ever been to Victoria?!
What part of the world do you live in?!
    GREAT BIG HUG

That's cool, Craig. I thought I'd express my opinion on what you said. It was nice to be able to help.
How's things in the Victorian Canada? (:

    Aw, why thank you Craig!
It was a rough, thrown together drawing done in paint, so there wasn't much I could do. (:
    I'm glad you liked it!
Just a token of my appreciation, you know?

I hope you're having a super duper dandy day, as well!
    Thanks, Craig.

    HUG!
