I know how that goes. But what's important is that you are a good person, and that you like to help people. It doesn't matter how many or how few people you've helped. If it's something that you like doing, then in my eyes, that's a talent. And no one has the talent of 'being able to help.' we're all able to help. The people who chose to help, they're automatically amazing in my eyes. Therefore, you're a pretty darn amazing person.
