Yes the husband/cheat one is fairly common. Conversations with people that I encounter usually go like this:
Random Person: ZOMG you're mormon?
Me: (nonchalantly) Yes.
Random Person: OMG OMG YOU SACRIFICE GOATS YOU SATANIST.
Me: (sigh) Yeah. Thursday is B.Y.O.G. Bring your own goat night. We go up in the mountains with our KKK masks on and run around the fire on our broomsticks chanting about Satan.

And the most pathetic part is, i'm not being sarcastic. This actually has happened. More than once. Oh the humanity....

Yeah, I think a lot of people seem to be like, "oh my God, Mormons have tons of kids and let their husbands cheat on them," which I never really thought was a correct assumption. lol

Hey, thank you a lot for the post you made in the thread I created about mormons. I've kind of been looking around, because there's a lot of things in my faith at the moment (I'm Catholic) that I really just don't agree or feel comfortable with, and I've been looking into other religions a little bit, and Mormonism really jumped out at me, for some reason. I think it's so completely interesting, and it makes a lot of sense to me, simply from the things you listed in your post. So, yeah, thanks
