wow i never knew that. My dad was in the Army during the 80's in the cold war and he was based on the west German/East German Boarder. Hes told me that the Russian Guards where only a few metres from him, so basicly if the war turned hot then he would be one of the first to be attacked.

Yeah they just never could make enough because they were too complex to easily mass produce.
They also never had enough fuel, guns, or ammo.
Under ideal conditions like with the blitzkrieg they kicked ass.
In fact D-day would have been uneventful if a german panzer division wasn't there doing practice maneuvers
Also the british sent a decoy set of plans on the shores of France that confused the germans where the invasion was gonna be and so the majority of defense were set up 50 60 miles up the coast.

When I was younger I used to be more into that sort of thing except I always thought the german arsenal was better than the allied arsenal. I feel bad the germans lost they were inventing vtol fighters and bomber that could cross the atlantic, and Bismarck was an amazing battleship. Never could sink that thing, germans scuttled it. I never did much modeling though because I would always break it. I could do it now, but I don't want to spend the money. I have a miniature army for a board game warhammer 40k, but I don't play that much anymore. I bought a steam bike that's what I play with now.

    Yes definitely,
Though I prefer the bra era cars and just after, I find many classic cars interesting and depending on where I live I may end up having to buy a classic car.
