She's ok now, yeah! We're getting ready for celebrate Kris's commissioning tomorrow (he'll officially be in the Army then). It's tomorrow and it's already 1AM here, and I have to be up close to 7. ICK! I should probably be in bed.

Aww. Yes, it's the thought that counts!!!!! I think cards are few of the best gifts! I made my mum a card last year for her birthday!!

She tried the legal version of marijuana called K2 and she had an allergic reaction to it. She ended up losing feeling on her right side, but they released her only about an hour and a half after she was admitted.

But, since I'm not working right now, the only thing I could get it was a card. But, she loved the thought and appreciated me just being with her on her birthday.

Hahaha! Yep. My mom's birthday went very well, but then my boyfriend's mom ended up in the hospital! Crazy stuff. She's alright though.

Ah, not much. Today is my mom's 50th birthday so we're celebrating with a dinner & cake a little later. I need her to get home so I can run and get her present. I'm such a last minute shopper.

I've been here and about. It's still hot here, but a little more bearable, I'll give you that!
I've been trying to concentrate on my art, and, well, other than that, not much really! How about you?

Haha yeah. A military upbringing will do that to you. It's very hard for me to adjust to the military thing, but it's gotten easier over the past 2.5 years. I love the army, they've brought me some great friends. I even get to see a friend of mine who's been deployed over in Egypt for a year. He's making it back in time to see the ceremony this Saturday, so it's going to be nice to have him back in the states safe and sound. It's going to be a great reunion.
