- Hi, My name is Michael. I am from South Carolina. I joined the fire service 4 years ago, and really enjoy it. I became certified as an EMT along with Firefighting certifications. I am currently working part time at one department, and volunteering at another. I am attending college in the fall for welding, then I want to become a counselor or something else in the mental health field, because I really enjoy helping people. :) If you would like to know anything else, do not be afraid to ask!
