- I'll start by saying my name. It's Ty'Deirdre M. Sloan, pronounced ty-dee-druh. I love my name because it defines me in ways that not even the smartest person would even imagine.
I write poetry and stories, I do a bit of hairdressing, I perform my poetry live, and I can do well with acting. I'm the biggest fan of helping people. I don't know why, but whenever I see someone that even appears to need help, I can't help but aid them on my own.
I'm a self taught person by the way. Everything I know how to do, I practically taught myself to do it. But, poetry, that lived with me since the time I came to wilcox county alabama from huntsville alabama. It started as me calling myself a young rapper(lol) when really all I was doing was rhyming and putting words together in less than a minute. Now, I can write a full paged poem in less than 5 minutes.
I'm a good friend also. I don't mind being there for others, but I have a bad habit of putting other people's happiness before my own. Even when I'm at my most miserable my friends and family come first. I guess thats just me. :)
But I'm not a mean person, and yet, i'm not the type to mess with in the wrong ways. When people cross my line and use my kindness for a weakness, i kind of go a little out there and I say some cruel things.
Plus, I'm not afraid to tell you like it is. I'm gonna be real 24/7, and whoever doesn't like it can kick rocks. :)
