So I watched the live stream of the funeral. I'm so glad the family chose to share it that way, there's no way I could travel to WA for it. It was - it was people trying to make the best of a shitty situation. I cried through nearly the whole thing (something I probably wouldn't have been able to do if I was there in person), and I just kept thinking about how he's gone, that wasn't him in the coffin, it was just a body in a box.

Yeah, I guess, so you only die once as well.

And when you die, there's so many people left behind, and they're so angry, and so sad, even though they knew you were dying. It doesn't make it any easier to let go, and we all just feel like we should live forever.

It's Waitangi Day tomorrow, so I guess I should have a think about what this year is going to be about for me.

Even though I'm STILL sick from whatever it was I got over a week ago now, I was well enough that I was able to go with mom to the mall. I had a lot of bad dreams last night. I don't really remember any of them except one though. I had a dream where I was self harming. I had self harmed a lot in it. I've never had a self harm dream before.
