I went to bed to sleep around about 11pm, and dropped off relatively quickly. Barely 3 hours later, I wake up because my left shoulder joint is in an excruciating amount of pain. It won't click, no movement to different position helped. Some moves made the pain worse, but definitely none improved them. I couldn't breathe properly, the pain was so bad that I was panicking and hyperventilating. I got myself to sit up so I could get control of my breathing, which is just as well because I felt like I was on the brink of an asthma attack. I laid in bed in pain for a couple of hours (I may have dozed, but I don't think so, the pain was that bad), before realising I could take pain killers. So, I took some of the paracode I liberated from Mum's a while back. (ParaCode is paracetamol (acetominophen, I think what you guys have in Tylenol) and codeine.) I picked that one because I know codeine makes people sleepy and I desperately needed some sleep.

So I took two, and lay in bed counting (and periodically being distracted by the pain) until I fell asleep again. I got somewhere between three and five hours decent sleep before I woke up and was once more in excruciating pain. I took two more painkillers and continued with my day. The pain started getting less on the bus, and by the time I got home it had receded to a dull ache. It's now nearly gone. I think perhaps I pinched a nerve in my sleep, probably from trying to move blankets with both cats on the bed. I'll put Cheeky in the laundry tonight.

Sam hasn't texted me, I asked her if she was being discharged today, but based on the fact that she hasn't replied (and is therefore either angry or upset, or both) she'll be there over the weekend. Works for me, I plan to get stoned over the weekend.

I got a letter from probation today, dated the 5th of September. There was no frank on the postage paid part of the envelope, meaning it was delivered by hand. It informed me that I had an appointment made for me at 10:00am on the 7th of September. I didn't receive the letter until about 3:00pm on the 7th. Because it was delivered by hand, I have no way of proving that I didn't get it until today, so probation probably wouldn't believe me.

Anyway apparently the letter is my "2nd warning letter", the consequences of which can be a second breach, or a warrant for my arrest. Oh well, too bad.

It also said that breach could affect my benefit. I haven't found any information stating how exactly it would be affected, but so long as they pay my rent, I can manage. And that's the only important thing really, because if they fine me, then they can take it out of my benefit, and if I go to jail, then I won't need money, I'll just to make sure that my rent is being paid for the length of my incarceration. I don't want to move again.

And now, I have important RuneScape related things I must attend to.
