Mystery Illness

Posted October 17th 2009 at 06:54 PM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

A few days ago I got that feeling that you get right before you get a bad cold. I get sore throats/congestion pretty often, so I didn't think too much of it. Then Thursday rolled around and I could hardly swallow, and my temperature was at 102F. That's not exactly normal so I went to the doctor yesterday and they were pretty sure it was strep throat...just what I was hoping for!

I got the test results back this morning and it was negative for strep. Sooo they're not exactly sure

My New Love

Posted October 8th 2009 at 04:06 AM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

I know, I know. Damn near two weeks without a blog. What the hell Tor...what the ach-ee-double-hockey-sticks. Well to tell you the truth, I've been really busy. I know, that's the most pathetic excuse in the book, but it's the truth I tell ya! Actually, I've been becoming emotionally attatched to my new camera. Oh, I didn't mention that yet did I? *Ahem*
I got my camera!!

So I blame my lack-of-bloggage

I apparently took a liking to a light post.

Posted September 27th 2009 at 04:14 AM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

Today has just been an odd day. Last night I just wasn't tired, for whatever reason, so I stayed up until about 3am. Now I know, that's considered normal or maybe even early for some of you TH insomniacs, but for Tor, that's later than usual. So in effect, I woke up much later than normal, damn near 11am.

Since then, all I've really done today is took some glue and stuck my ass to my chair and my eyes to my computer. In fact, my family didn't even notice I was home and ended up ordering

Concrete Angel (possibly triggering)

Posted September 24th 2009 at 02:54 AM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

Hey guys.
Some of you probably have already heard this song,
but for those of you who haven't...
you most defiantly should!
It's very sad, but a beautiful song none the less,
and I can't stop listening to it.

She walks to school with the lunch she packed
Nobody knows what she's holding back
Wearing the same dress she wore yesterday
She hides the bruises with the linen and lace, oh

The teacher wonders but she doesn't

Turning 18 n all that shizz (complete with pictures)

I'm running out of colors to use for these blogs.

Today I've been mostly deciding which camera I want to get. Oh right, so for my birthday my parents gave me a card that said "this card is good for one camera of your choice."

I really didn't think they'd actually get me one when I asked, but they've proved me wrong. This morning my first choice was a Nikon D40..however I think that's changed to a Canon Rebel XS because my brother already has Canon lenses.

My Morning

Posted September 16th 2009 at 05:08 PM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

I'm in a strange bubbly mood where I don't want to sit down and I have the urge to talk. (which for me is a rare thing since I'm never talkative) I wake up this morning and I was going to work out for a bit...but as soon as I did 5 crunches, I realized I was hungry. So I open my door to go downstairs and my cat is sitting by my door staring up at me with a slight craze in his eyes. I know that look. That's the look he gets when he's hyper and wants to play. I growl at him and immediately he takes...

Stealing Minutes of Your Life

Posted September 11th 2009 at 04:28 AM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

Apparently people take the time to read my blogs, which I think is kind of a waste of your time. I mean I started blogging basically for the intention of ranting to myself so I could post my thoughts without anyone having to read them. It gave me the ability to complain without actually complaining. But then I don't blog for a week and I have three people on my ass making me pinky promise to make a post. *Sigh* I love you guys

I don't really have a plan for this blog...no...

Summer Nights

Posted August 29th 2009 at 04:34 AM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

I love night time during the months of summer, particularly August & September. Those nights when the air has a perfect balance of warmth with cool breeze. Those nights when it's more comfortable to be outside because inside the air is hot with no circulation. Those nights when everything outside just seems peaceful and still and you feel like if you're too loud you'll ruin it. Well ladies and gentlemen who read my blog, tonight is one of those nights. And on nights like this, my favorite thing...

College: Day 1

Posted August 19th 2009 at 10:17 PM by s_tor_m (Mentality of Tor)

Today I had my first class of college...psychology. I didn't expect much, I mean what first day is anything but going over course outlines and all that jazz.

So the teacher started going over what we're going to be learning about, and I can already tell this class is going to be pretty interesting. There's a whole chapter about repressed memories and another on social anxieties. Just from her reading the outline, my mind went a little crazy and I couldn't think straight.
