Listening to music. Starting with a sad song and from there chosing a slightly more cheerfull song and then an even more cheerfull song until I reach something uplifting that drags me out of my low mood
It's ok to give in to an urge or make a mistake. You are only human and we all have our flaws. We all have our weak moments and we all make mistakes. Thats what makes us human.
Thats what makes us unique and beautiful

I was looking online for a dream catcher, prepared myself a salad, cleaned a bit, and might watch shadow hunters since I *just* got into it. I might catch up and then surprise my sister because I am only on season 1, episode 3 and she had watched all of them and waits for the new ones. I am hoping talking about shadow hunters would be a bonding moment because our relationship isn't the greatest =/

I've been trying to finish up this course. I've been reading my last book for this class this afternoon, and I did finish my other book that I got for fun. Have also been looking into what I want to read next. So that's a good distraction.

Shower and body lotion after. I never had body lotion before but now I do and it is lavender and sandalwood flavor, yummy. It feels so fresh on my skin

I can't beat it completely, but I try. I have thought of my friend and parents. I thought about how many people would worry about me. Although it doesn't completely help, it is the best option for now.

been hanging out at the House and will be starting a training soon and thinking of adding one more volunteer thing that I saw a flyer about in the library which is to do homework help with school-aged kids.

playing my fav music as loud as possible. I also tend to vent all my feelings if I'm anxious/angry/sad/close to cutting by drawing characters 'looking the way I'm feeling' like with a gun or cut ones. It may seem depressing since the images are violent and carry lots of negative emotions; however, I think it's a great way to release all the feelings.

I am focusing on my school work. And listening to music. I am also ignoring the urges and telling myself if they are still there before I go to bed I will act on them then.

Yesterday I watched a movie, did some driving, and wrapped someone's birthday presents. Today I'll probably hang out on here, take care of my animals, maybe do some classwork, and try to keep busy overall so I don't have time to think.

Self-harm can be a way of coping with problems. It may help you express feelings you can’t put into words, distract you from your life, or release emotional pain. Afterwards, you probably feel better—at least for a little while. But then the painful feelings return, and you feel the urge to hurt yourself again. If you want to stop cutting or self-harming but don’t know how, remember this: you deserve to feel better, and you can get there without hurting yourself.
